Bahawalpur: Eight killed as bus overturns
Bahawalpur- Eight people were killed and almost
forty were injured as a passenger bus on its way
to Rawalpindi overturned in Uch Sharif on
Thursday night.
Police sources say that the bus was on its way to
Rawalpindi from Karachi when it overturned near
Phalka Pul in Uch Sharif resulting in the death of
eight people including two women. Almost forty
others were injured which were shifted to nearby
hospital by police and rescue personnel. The
injured stated that the bus was overcrowded due
to the upcoming religious festival Eid-ul-Azha.
