Narrow Escape: Teacher Prevents Terrorist Attack In Niger State School

The teacher spotted two suspicious looking men near the school about to disguise themselves in hijabs and she raised an alarm. A female teacher at the Maryam Babangida Girls Science College in Minna, Niger State might have saved the lives of many after she reportedly averted a terrorist attack. The unidentified teacher was said to have spotted two suspicious looking men near the school about to disguise themselves in hijabs. The men told the teacher to turn back but instead she ran to the school and alerted students and teachers to the looming danger, Punch reports. The school authorities then informed the police, the military and the State Security Service who arrived to survey the situation and quell the panic which had arisen in the school. The principal of the school, Hajiya Fatima Madugu confirmed the incident saying that one of the teachers had indeed saved the school from being attacked. This comes after a suicide bomber detonated an explosive in front of the Federal College of Education in Kontagora, Niger State. »
