Ebola Update: US Opens Disease Treatment Center In Liberia
The opening ceremony of the 100-bed facility
took place on Monday, November 10, in
Tubmanburg, a town close to the capital,
Monrovia.
The first of 17 Ebola treatment centers being built
by the US in Liberia has been opened.

A local official, Samuel Brown stated that the
opening is a "history-making" event.
US President, Barack Obama has committed to
sending up 3000 troops to aid in the fight against
Ebola in West Africa.
Liberia has lost 2,766 people to the disease.
