In Kano: 6 Dead, 5 Injured In Bomb Blast

A suicide bomber drove into the Magarsiku Filling Station and detonated an explosive device while pretending to buy fuel:- An explosion which occurred in Hotoro, Kano State on Friday, November 14, is said to have killed six people and left five others injured. A suicide bomber drove into the Magarsiku Filling Station and detonated an explosive device while pretending to buy fuel. Two vehicles were totally burnt while two others were damaged before men of the fire service got the inferno under control. The incident has been confirmed by the State Commissioner of Police, Adenrele Shinaba who said on Saturday, November 15: “We are lucky there are two petrol tankers which will have been burnt if not for the early arrival of the fire servicemen who quickly put out the fire.” He confirmed the casualty figure saying that the five injured people had been taken to a hospital for treatment. The Commissioner also urged residents to be more vigilant to ensure that such incidents can be brought to a halt.
