Boko Haram: Terrorists Reportedly Lose Control Of Mubi

Boko Haram captured Mubi on October 29 and renamed it ‘Madinatul Islam’, which means the “City of Islam.” Mubi Town in Adamawa State, Nigeria is no longer under the control of Boko Haram, a BBC correspondent claims. The terrorists who captured Mubi on October 29, 2014 immediately renamed it ‘Madinatul Islam’, which means the “City of Islam.” BBC Nigeria Correspondent, Will Ross tweeted on November 13, 2014: “Mubi is no longer in the hands of Boko Haram according to Adamawa State government officials.” “Combination of military + local youth with hunters helped retake Mubi according to a spokesman for Adamawa State govt. Says Boko Haram fled” Local hunters, armed with bows and arrows were earlier said to have mobilized themselves to fight the terrorists and reclaim the communities that had been lost to Boko Haram. The hunters were able to regain control of Maiha Town in Adamawa State, and reportedly killed 75 Boko Haram members during the battle for supremacy.
