Ebola Outbreak: Last US Patient Cured, Discharged From Hospital

The Mayor said: “It is a good feeling to hug a hero, and we have a hero here in our midst. He has been an inspiration throughout the challenges that he met. Dr. Spencer showed us what it means to help your fellow humans.” The New York Health Department announced on Monday, November 10 that the doctor had tested negative for Ebola. Spencer arrived New York from Guinea on October 14 and was admitted into hospital on October 23 after showing symptoms of the disease.
