Suicide: Police Officer Accused Of Selling Arms Kills Himself In Police Cell

The police officer accused of selling arms to criminals in Kaduna State, DSP Danbol, is alleged to have committed suicide in police cell. Last week, Pulse.ng » gave you a story of a senior police officer who was in charge of armaments in the Kaduna State Police Command, DSP Nanbol Audu, accused of selling guns and ammunitions » to criminals including armed robbers, terrorists, bombers and gun runners. According to Sahara Reports » , the officer has committed suicide in police detention. Though several stories have emanated from the alleged suicide, some of his family members believe Audu was gunned down in his cell by some of his colleagues who may have been involved the deal who did not want him to spill the bean and implicate them. One of the victim’s relative had reportedly called the online portal and insisted that DSP Audu could not have shot himself as he had been handcuffed since his arrest. The relative said: I will supply you photographs our family collected from the media in Kaduna this afternoon. He has been hand-cuffed through-out. How can a hand-cuffed man shoot himself to death? Where did he get a gun in detention to carry out the act by killing himself? It is clear something is wrong and we will want to know the whole thing that happened and the truth, it is unfortunate and pathetic. The last is not heard of this case.
