132 inmates at the Koton-Karfi Prison ,Kogi State have reportedly been released from their cells by unidentified gunmen. Punch reports that the attack occurred on Monday, November 3 and 144 inmates escaped while AFP reports that the attack occurred on Sunday with 132 prisoners escaping the facility. The attack has reportedly been confirmed by the Controller of the prison but it is not yet clear who carried out the attack.
