NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF PDP: I didn’t lose in my ward, LG – Mu’azu

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Adamu Mu’azu, has dismissed reports that he lost his polling unit and local government area to the All Progressives Congress in the Saturday election. The PDP chairman hails from Bauchi State and the immediate past governor of the state. Mu’azu, who took to his official Twitter page to react to the report on the alleged defeat, warned the opposition against falsifying facts. In a series of tweets on his page, the PDP chairman cautioned against lying and circulation of unconfirmed results. He said, “I won my LGA. Stop the lies propaganda. It will not help you. You will only heat up the polity. “We will not watch many of you destroy our beloved country with lies. I urge all Nigerians to ignore lies. God bless Nigeria.” Mu’azu appealed to PDP supporters not to join “propagandist in their attempt to overheat the polity by announcing unconfirmed results.” He said, “Dear PDP supporters, once again remain calm. Their plan is to raise false alarm so they can use it to cause havoc. They will fail as usual. Await results from INEC. God bless Nigeria.”
