Journalist Close To Boko Haram Says Abubakar Shekau Is “Alive And Well”

Nigerian Journalist and a close associate of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram, Ahmad Salkida has faulted the viral claims that one of the sect members killed in a recent battle between the sect and the Nigerian Army was the Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau. Salkida, on his twitter handle tweeted that the photo being circulated was in no way Shekau, as he had it on good authority that the sect leader was well and alive. He tweeted thus: ‘’ Mark my words; I have it on good authority that Shekau is well and alive. The picture going round is NOT the person who torments us with this group. ‘’ With this latest tweet from Salkida who is believed to have good relationship with Shekau, the claims by both Nigeria and Cameroonian Army have clearly been put to doubt.
