Bomb blast hits Buhari Housing Estate Yobe, 16 killed
Sixteen people have died and 10 others injured in
multiple explosions on Wednesday morning in
Damaturu, Yobe State capital.
Executive Secretary, State Emergency
Management Agency, Alhaji Musa Idi, confirmed
the story to newsmen in Damaturu on
Wednesday.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the
explosions took place around Ministry of Housing
quarters and Buhari Housing Estate in Damaturu.
NAN reports that normalcy had returned to the
state capital as schools opened, while workers
and other residents had resumed their normal
business.
