ENTERTAINMENT: Godswill Akpabio, 2face, Chaka Chaka celebrated at AFRIMMA Awards 2014
At the just concluded African music awards, AFRIMMA, it was a night of celebration of African music as well as African icons who have played a prominent role in the emancipation of African music. Topping the pile is Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Dr. Godswill Akpabio who was honored with the Transformational Leadership Award for initiating the record-setting 9,999 Christmas Carol Night. South African music legend Yvonne Chaka Chaka was also bestowed with Legendary Award while 2face Idibia received the Leadership in Music Awards.
